“And when is there time to remember, to sift, to weigh, to estimate, to total?” -Tillie Olsen
Lots to do and running out of time! Aka it’s Summer Orientation time again! A lot goes into Summer Orientation, we have to prep through stuffing folders, making phone calls, reserving campus locations, setting up at those locations, contacting the right people to help and making it all fun both in the process and then in the presentation. I’m excited about this year since half of the class of 2016 is coming into to visit the campus.
The campus is going to be jam-packed between current students staying here over the summer, EMF (Eastern Music Festival) kids who are here for camp, and the sports camps that are here this summer, on top of the class of 2016, can you say student overload? I’m so excited. Hopefully all the incoming 1st year class I’ve been in contact with via the computer can actually put a real face to my name. I just love meeting new people.
Though Summer Orientation is just the beginning the bigger things are to come for the fall, and I have to admit I’m more excited about fall than summer.
As for my class, made another high grade on another paper. I’m really hoping I can pass the class with an A or a B. Only a couple of weeks left to make things happen. Yeah? Also been listening to a lot of music lately. Started listening to an old favorite again the band “Everybody Else” so for you enjoyment this is what I was listening to when I wrote this. Cheers.
